Our client and an ex British Army officer bought this nicely presented ex military property in May 1989 for £34,000 as an investment property.
The two bed well presented terraced house was located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac just off Devizes Road and has during this time been let and managed by Whites Estate Agents, in more recent years the property generated a rental income of £750 pounds per month.
He had always said that he would sell to any tenant who wanted to buy No 10 and this has finally happened in 2022 – but it has taken 34 years and the value of the house has gone up to £215,000
The rental department at Whites is pleased to report that over the entire time of the 34 year management there have been no arrears of rent. The house and garden was well looked after by 10-15 different tenants over the years and is passing to the new owners in generally good order, but in need of a bit of updating around the edges. So final the tenant will see the wish list fully fulfilled!
