Two new positions in our busy Salisbury lettings team

The lettings team at Whites in Salisbury is EXPANDING and we have two NEW positions AVAILABLE in our busy Salisbury office. 

1. The first is an exciting opportunity to work as a: Lettings Administrator/Junior Property Manager

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join the Whites team. To be successful in our busy lettings department you will need to be able to be motivated and eager to learn; have an outgoing personality, be well presented and have excellent communication and IT skills. Experience in a busy customer service or administrative role would be an advantage but not essential.

Initially your duties will include:

• Being the principal person for answering the telephone enquires / Shared with second administrator.

• Dealing with enquiries from prospective tenants and landlords

• Booking valuation and viewing appointments

• Assist in the administration of new and existing lettings

• Using bespoke Estate Agency database to manage the end-to-end lettings process

• Working closely with a property manager to manage a portfolio of properties.

• Training to a level 3 industry qualification with ARLA or similar provider – Support and study time given.

You will receive on-going training, support and guidance in order to complete the above duties. Candidates who were interested in progression to a Property Manager role would be given training and support.

This position is full time working 8.30 am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with an hour for lunch. Saturdays on a rota basis equivalent to 1 in 4. Based in our buzzing Salisbury centre offices.

Salary £20,000-24,000 per annum ( doe)

2. The second is as a Saturday Assistant where you will be needed to work from 9am to 4pm on alternative Saturdays per month in our lettings department. There may be the opportunity of additional hours to cover holidays.

In this interesting role you will be the first point of contact, dealing with general enquiries and accompanying prospective tenants to viewings ensuring the property is shown off to its best advantage.

Acting as an ambassador for the Company you will:

Be the first point of contact for all perspective customers, either face to face or over the telephone, you will listen to their requirements and ensure that they receive first-class service

Ensure that the appropriate details are logged on our computer systems, making notes to enable a smooth handover of actions on the next working day

Accompany prospective customers on viewings of properties, ensuring that feedback/action required is logged on our computer systems for follow up the next working day

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

*Personable, with a lively and enthusiastic approach to work

*An excellent communicator

*Able to drive

*Punctual and reliable

*Smart and well presented

Able to use databases, knowledge of a lettings/sales agency system such as Jupix would be advantageous

*Able to demonstrate good administration skills
