Wanted: Maintenance Manager for Salisbury Estate Agent

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for our award-winning family-run independent letting agent based in Salisbury.

This is a full-time position in which you will be expected to manage all aspects of maintenance that may be reported by tenants, landlords or our property managers. This can be anything from a weeping tap to a major roof repair.

Responsibilities:

• To help keep our landlord’s properties in good condition and well maintained.
• Coordinate and handle maintenance enquires and communicating with landlords and tenants.
• Control and manage tenants’ expectations for repairs and likely time frames
• Coordinate and instruct contractors with detailed work orders and ensure work is conducted in a time sensitive manner
• Be knowledgeable in all aspects of property management and provide recommendations to tenants and landlords

As a company we use ALTO lettings software and need an individual with confidence using similar software ensuring there are clear audits for work and the related communications the any maintenance instructed and updating all parties through the process.

Being able to work to deadlines and set priorities is vital.

We would ideally expect the person will have had lettings experience (a property manager or similar role) or come from a maintenance related background.

HOURS: 8.30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday. Saturday (working one in four Saturdays 9am - 1pm).
